Gottesman RTW Academy Gala Celebration 2024

GRTWA IS CELEBRATING ITS 57TH ANNIVERSARY, HONORING DR LYNNE B HARRISON, AND CELEBRATING STEM-SCIENCE AT GOTTESMAN RTW ACADEMY.

Spring is coming and Gottesman RTW Academy will have the pleasure of honoring Dr Lynne B Harrison as well as an opportunity to celebrate our STEM-Science Program. The Annual Gala will be on Thursday, April 11, 2024, at the school.

For the last three years, GRTWA has been a recipient of a yearly grant through the Dr Lynne B Harrison STEM Endowment Fund which supported the launch of our after-school STEM enrichment program and has enriched our middle school science curriculum. The 7th and 8th grade students will be showcasing our STEM program through stations at the gala in the fields of electricity, flight, medicine and microbiology, mechanics, chemistry-baking, engineering and technology, robotics, artificial intelligence, and space.

Dr Lynne B Harrison has made it possible for our science program to fall right in step with the fast-paced world of technology. Through her generous grants to Gottesman RTW Academy, we have been able to enhance VR, flight simulation, medical real-world applications and more. “I’ve learned so much that is actually something I can use in real life” said one of our middle school students. Right now, the world has so much competition and so many obstacles in the way of entering the job market, in so many fields, and finding success. Programs like the ones we have access to because Dr Harrison have enabled our students to have a good start to opening doors in fields of science and technology.
